Alden is now a student of the violin! We found a Suzuki school near by (by Maine standards) and are doing our nightly music exercises and listening to the Suzuki CD every chance we get.
Currently he is studying how to carry and hold the instrument, perhaps by this time next week he will be playing something!
With Kerstin, Ilana, Alden, and Elliott.

oh the memories. Can't wait to play some duets with him this passover ;)
It would be awesome if you could play some tunes with Alden! He really wants to hear you play Gavotte (from book 1) if you can remember it. We've only just started to put fingers to strings (he's only playing F# at the moment), so I'm not sure he'll be able to play the twinkles with you by Passover. But we''ll keep practicing and hopefully he'll be able to play the barest semblance of a twinkle by April.
